What Dhikr Is

Dhikr is a personal Quran reflection companion. It helps you engage with the Quran through daily verses, written reflections, and AI-generated prompts that reference your past words.

What Dhikr Is Not

Dhikr is not a scholarly service. It does not provide fatwas, religious rulings, or theological interpretations. The AI companion is a reflection tool — it helps you think, not tell you what to believe. For religious guidance, please consult qualified scholars.

Quran Content

All Quranic verses, translations, and tafsir content are sourced exclusively from the Quran Foundation Content API. Dhikr does not generate, paraphrase, or invent Quranic text. The AI will only cite verses as returned by the Quran Foundation API.

AI-Generated Content

Reflection prompts, memory recalls, and tafsir summaries are generated by Anthropic's Claude AI. While we take care to ensure accuracy and respectfulness, AI-generated content may contain errors. It should not be treated as authoritative Islamic scholarship.

Your Reflections

Your written reflections are your own. They are stored privately via the Quran Foundation Notes API and are visible only to you. Summaries of your reflections are used by the AI to personalize your experience. You may delete your data at any time.

No Warranty

Dhikr is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or the accuracy of AI-generated content. Use of the application is at your own discretion.

Acceptable Use

By using Dhikr, you agree to use the application respectfully and in good faith. Do not attempt to misuse the AI, extract Quran Foundation data in bulk, or use the service for purposes inconsistent with its mission of Quran engagement.
